Karachi: (RightNow) A robbery occurred in Korangi’s Dhai Number area targeting a businessman. Robbers on a car and motorcycles fled with over Rs 20 million.

Police reported that the businessman was on his way to deposit money with his driver and security guard. The assailants attacked and snatched the cash.

According to police officials, the robbers also took the security guard’s weapon. CCTV footage shows a white car and two motorcycles involved in the incident.

Police stated that the affected businessman has not yet filed a case. This robbery highlights the security issues in the city.

It is noteworthy that Korangi has witnessed similar robberies before. Rising crime rates have left citizens feeling insecure.
