Lahore: (RightNow). PTI leader Hammad Azhar has been handed over to police for a 20-day physical remand. The decision was made by Lahore’s Anti-Terrorism Court.

During the court hearing, Judge Muhammad Akram ordered Hammad Azhar to be handed over to police for a 20-day physical remand. The PTI leader was arrested in Multan.

Police spokesperson stated that Hammad Azhar was arrested due to being wanted in 18 cases. His arrest was formally executed by Lahore police today.

Regarding Hammad Azhar’s arrest, police said he was transferred from Multan to Lahore police. Further investigations are ongoing in this matter.

It is noteworthy that Hammad Azhar had been in hiding for three years and had multiple cases registered against him, leading to his arrest.
