Lahore: (RightNow) Pakistan is set to host the SAF Games after 23 years. India has accepted the invitation to participate in these games.

Indian representatives attended a high-level meeting of the South Asian Olympic Association regarding the SAF Games. During the meeting, India gave a positive response to Pakistan.

India has officially agreed to participate in the games scheduled in Pakistan in April 2027.

Khalid Mahmood, Secretary General of the Pakistan Olympic Association, confirmed India’s willingness to participate in these competitions.

It should be noted that 15 sports events, including squash, tennis, and martial arts, will be held in Islamabad.
