Washington: (RightNow) U.S. officials conducted polygraph tests on 50 military and civilian personnel after sensitive information about the Iran war was leaked to the media.

In August, Pentagon Joint Staff personnel were questioned and subjected to polygraph tests. The aim was to investigate the source of the information leak.

The investigation focused on the leak of information regarding the depletion of long-range missiles and Patriot interceptors.

The Department of Defense stated that no information has emerged to hold any personnel accountable for the leaks, but the issue remains a serious national security concern.

It is noteworthy that U.S. President Donald Trump expressed strong displeasure over the matter, and the Pentagon continues efforts to identify those responsible.
