Lahore: (RightNow) Greek Ambassador Eleni Pouriki visited the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the meeting with President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol, they discussed Greece-Pakistan trade and economic relations.
Both parties agreed to enhance business ties between the two countries. The Greek Ambassador emphasized the importance of the private sector and urged efforts to strengthen economic relations.
The Ambassador highlighted the demand for skilled Pakistani workers in Greece. She suggested increasing B2B connections and noted opportunities in agriculture and engineering.
She stressed the need to promote trade in tourism and renewable energy, alongside textiles. The Lahore Chamber President also highlighted the importance of this cooperation.
It is noteworthy that there is potential for cooperation between Pakistan and Greece in agriculture, minerals, and mining. Business delegations and meetings between the two countries can create further opportunities.
