Lahore: (RightNow) The registration process for kite-making for Basant 2027 has commenced. DC Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ijaz announced that registration will start on September 5. Only those with an NOC will be allowed to make kites.

The district administration has declared that permits are mandatory for preparing kite materials. Only approved materials will be allowed for production.

Administration teams will strictly monitor the preparation of materials. Only approved sizes and cotton strings will be permitted.

DC Lahore has stated that a safe Basant will be ensured. The kite-making process will continue in accordance with safety regulations.

It is noteworthy that the administration is strictly enforcing safety measures to revive the tradition of Basant in Lahore.
