Wah: (RightNow) Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the defence industrial complex in Wah. He observed experiments of locally manufactured weapons and ammunition.

According to ISPR, Field Marshal reviewed POF’s production capabilities and export potential. He also examined POF’s role in strengthening the national defence industrial base.

During the visit, Field Marshal received a briefing on POF’s activities. He was informed about the development and production of military equipment locally.

Field Marshal was briefed on the progress of transforming POF into a corporate entity and efforts in local manufacturing. He also learned about the installation of two new industrial plants.

It is noteworthy that, according to ISPR, production from these plants is expected to start by the end of this year. The Pakistan Army reiterated its commitment to promoting local production and technological innovation.
