Lahore: (RightNow) The FIA Anti-Corruption Circle conducted a raid at the Harbanspura Passport Office, arresting Superintendent Abdul Ghaffar and three others.

The arrested individuals include former contract employee Ansar, security guard Zubair Ashfaq, and agent Mubashir Mahmood. They were allegedly deceiving citizens into obtaining passports through illegal means.

According to FIA officials, the operation targeted those involved in illegal activities inside and outside the passport office. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.

This operation could lead to the prosecution of others involved in passport fraud. Such actions are crucial for protecting public rights.

It is noteworthy that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently conducted a surprise raid at the Garden Town Passport Office in Lahore, targeting collusion with agent mafias.
