New York: (RightNow) Astronomers have released the largest color map of the universe. It includes information on 4 billion stars, galaxies, and other celestial bodies.

The map was created by the DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys team, featuring 5.6 trillion pixels. It is available online for both the public and experts.

The new image will help scientists search for rare astronomical phenomena like gravitational lensing and supernovae.
