Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority issues two licenses to boost nuclear engineering and transport capabilities.
Islamabad: (RightNow). Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority has issued two significant regulatory licenses. These include a license for the design of nuclear facility safety systems and a design approval certificate for transport packages.
According to the announcement, these licenses are issued in accordance with international safety standards. They will enhance Pakistan’s technical capabilities and promote local expertise in nuclear engineering.
The local production of transport packages will facilitate the safe delivery of radiopharmaceuticals. Hospitals will receive more stable supplies of radiopharmaceuticals.
This development marks a significant step towards the safe and peaceful use of nuclear technology. PNRA Chairman Zia Hussain Shah stated that the authority is committed to this goal.
