Islamabad: (RightNow) PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique states that creating provinces by violating the constitution is futile. He emphasized the necessity of establishing a parliament during his speech at the National Policy Dialogue.

Rafique further criticized the previous government for focusing on imprisoning people, highlighting that Pakistan is a nuclear power and cannot progress by suppressing opponents.

He expressed support for smaller provinces but stressed the need for unity. Punjab has been divided before and is ready again, but he clarified this as his personal opinion.

Regarding democracy, Rafique noted that Pakistan has experienced several declared and undeclared martial laws, and political parties have become family estates.

It is noteworthy that Rafique mentioned the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan and expressed concern over the potential situation in Azad Kashmir.
