New Delhi: (RightNow) The protest by the Cockroach Janata Party has turned New Delhi into a battleground. Clashes between students and police have left hundreds injured.

Thousands of protesters demanded the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. They accused the government of irregularities in examinations.

Police used tear gas and baton charges to disperse the protesters. According to Delhi Police, 118 officers and 60 protesters were injured.

Protest leaders condemned the police action, stating that attempts were made to suppress the peaceful student protest.

It is noteworthy that this movement began on social media in May 2026 and has become a significant challenge for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
