Alec Neil Vance’s birth marks the first child born to a sitting US Vice President in over 150 years.
Washington: (RightNow) US Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance have welcomed their fourth child. Their son, Alec Neil Vance, was born at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland.
According to a joint statement from the Vance family, both mother and son are healthy. Their three older children are overjoyed with the arrival of their new brother.
JD Vance and Usha Vance met at Yale Law School and married in 2014. They already have three children: two sons, Ewan and Vivek, and a daughter, Mira Belle.
This event holds historical significance as Alec Neil Vance is the first child born to a sitting US Vice President in over 150 years.
It is noteworthy that the last time a US Vice President had a child was in 1870, when Vice President Schuyler Colfax’s child was born, marking a historic event.
