Peshawar: (RightNow) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has taken a significant step against terrorism by providing global-standard drone technology to sensitive districts. This initiative aims to equip the fight against terrorism with effective tools.

The province’s 27 districts have received modern drones following continuous terrorist attacks. These drones are equipped with thermal technology and will assist in various operations.

The advanced drones are capable of conducting covert operations, handling emergencies, and attacking terrorist hideouts with explosive materials. They feature multi-system sensors and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

This initiative is crucial in districts where terrorist activities are prevalent. The technology has been provided in Peshawar, Lower Dir, Swat, Hangu, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Kohat, Kurram, and Dera Ismail Khan.

It is noteworthy that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has decided to take effective measures against terrorism using modern technology.
