Mumbai: (RightNow) Diljit Dosanjh accepted only ₹1 as payment for the film ‘Satluj’. This was revealed by the film’s director, Honey Trehan.

Director Honey Trehan stated that Diljit made this decision after hearing the film’s story and seeing Jaswant Singh Khalra’s image.

According to him, Diljit said it would be shameful to take payment for portraying such a personality. He accepted ₹1 only for legal formalities.

The director added that Diljit cooperated fully during the shoot and never complained about delays.

It is noteworthy that the film ‘Satluj’ was removed from Zee5 two days after its release, bringing it back into the news.
