Delhi: (RightNow) Bollywood actress Rakhee Sawant has appealed to Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike. She expressed her desire to personally visit Jantar Mantar in Delhi to persuade him to stop the strike, emphasizing the value of his life.

Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike in Delhi for several days. His health has deteriorated, raising concerns among supporters.

Rakhee Sawant, in a video message from Mumbai, urged Wangchuk not to risk his life for unnecessary reasons. She is determined to travel to Delhi to personally end the strike.

The protest is against alleged irregularities in the NEET exam. Protesters demand the resignation of the Education Minister and compensation for affected families.

It is noteworthy that Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike has garnered support from film personalities. Shabana Azmi and others have also requested him to end the protest.
