Idaho: (Right Now News) American citizen David Rush set a new world record by completing a marathon wearing 125 T-shirts. Guinness World Records has confirmed his achievement.
David Rush participated in the YMCA Famous Idaho Potato Marathon, covering a distance of 42.195 kilometers in 5 hours, 54 minutes, and 50 seconds.
He reported that during the marathon, he felt unwell due to the intense heat but managed to avoid hospitalization by obtaining ice from a nearby golf club.
This record was previously set with 100 T-shirts, which David Rush has now surpassed. His success has been officially verified by Guinness World Records.
It is noteworthy that David Rush previously set a record in 2025 by wearing 137 T-shirts in a half marathon before attempting the full marathon.
