Zeekr sets Guinness World Record in Abu Dhabi by drifting electric car through a 25 cm gap.
Abu Dhabi: (RightNow) Chinese automaker Zeekr has set a Guinness World Record by drifting an electric car through an extremely narrow path. This feat was accomplished by the company’s driver, Chien Jo Yu.
The driver maneuvered the Zeekr 7X car sideways through the narrow path. There was only a 25-centimeter gap between the car and the path.
This record was set at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The company also celebrated its fifth anniversary on this occasion.
This event is significant as it marks a new milestone in electric car drifting. This achievement has further highlighted the capabilities of electric vehicles.
It is noteworthy that to measure this record, the length of the car was subtracted from the width of the path to determine the remaining distance.
