Amjad Hussain Advocate has been sworn in as Gilgit-Baltistan’s Chief Minister, marking a major success for the People’s Party.
Gilgit: (Right Now News) Amjad Hussain Advocate has been sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. Governor Syed Mehdi Shah administered the oath. The ceremony was attended by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Amir Maqam.
Chief Minister Amjad Hussain stated that on June 7, the People’s Party achieved significant success in Gilgit-Baltistan. He emphasized the importance of youth and women’s participation and acknowledged the responsibilities given to the party.
He expressed gratitude to those who trusted the People’s Party. He mentioned that despite not having a government at the center, the public placed their trust in them. He also thanked the leadership of the Muslim League-N for providing the opportunity to form the government.
The Chief Minister highlighted the unique climate of Gilgit-Baltistan. He pledged to improve land and air travel facilities and bring reforms across all sectors to make Gilgit-Baltistan a model province of Pakistan.
It is noteworthy that the People’s Party recently achieved major success in the elections. Under the leadership of Amjad Hussain Advocate, the party secured a strong mandate.
