Washington: (Right Now News) U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that progress is being made in indirect talks between the U.S. and Iran through Pakistan, with a potential agreement soon.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Trump revealed that the U.S. is engaging with Iran on both direct and indirect levels, and the negotiations are moving in a positive direction.

Trump claimed that Iran has allowed Pakistani-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, increasing the number of passing ships to 20.

He further mentioned that the U.S. could seize Iran’s oil export hub on Kharg Island if necessary, while Iranian Parliament Speaker Baqer Qalibaf has permitted the passage of ships.

It is noteworthy that the Middle East conflict has intensified, with Israel conducting airstrikes on Iran, and hundreds of U.S. Special Operations Forces have arrived in the region.
