Lahore: (RightNow) PTI leader Lateef Khosa criticizes Maryam Nawaz’s statement as promoting lawlessness. He claims the words of the Punjab Chief Minister could incite social extremism.

Khosa, speaking to journalist Shakir Mahmood, states that Maryam Nawaz’s statement compels the court to take notice. According to him, Maryam should be held accountable for her remarks.

Lateef Khosa further asserts that Maryam Nawaz perceives herself as both judge and executioner. He emphasizes that law enforcement is the sole responsibility of legal institutions, not individuals.

He warns that if everyone takes the law into their own hands, social justice could turn into vengeance. Such behavior could revert society to a tribal system.

It is noteworthy that in the past, retaliatory incidents have occurred between the Khosa and Laghari tribes. Maryam Nawaz’s statements evoke memories of that tribal era.
