Dublin: (RightNow) Ireland’s leg-spinner Ben White has retired from professional cricket at the age of 28. He announced this decision on LinkedIn.

Ben White played 43 matches in his international career. He began playing for Ireland in July 2021 and was considered a key player in the leg-spin department.

After his last match for Ireland, he bid farewell to cricket. His remarkable performance includes taking 36 wickets in 38 T20 matches.

White, who participated in three T20 World Cups for Ireland, had limited opportunities. His Test performance was also not impressive.

It is noteworthy that Ben White considered representing Ireland a pride and described his time with Cricket Ireland as memorable.
