Dera Ismail Khan: (RightNow) In two separate shooting incidents, five officers from the police and FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) have been killed. The first incident occurred near Abhayya Bridge where armed individuals opened fire on a vehicle.

According to DPO Ziauddin Ahmed, four FBR officers were killed on the spot due to the shooting. The bodies have been transferred to DHQ Hospital.

Ziauddin Ahmed stated that a search operation is underway in the area to arrest the suspects. Police reported that among the deceased officers, two were permanent employees while two were on contract.

On Bannu Road, unidentified individuals also fired at a traffic police mobile, resulting in the death of one officer and injuring another. Police have tightened security in the city.

It is noteworthy that these incidents occurred during duty hours in DI Khan, prompting stricter security measures.
