Islamabad: (RightNow) Police have arrested a gang involved in deceiving Laiba Ejaz with promises of higher education abroad. Laiba allegedly committed suicide due to this fraud.

According to police, the arrested suspects include Nauman, Fatima Sarwar, and Aiza. They obtained 9.3 million rupees from Laiba under the pretense of securing a US visa and scholarship.

The FIR mentions the suspects provided fake scholarship documents, university offer letters, and fee receipts. Laiba was under severe mental stress due to these fraudulent documents.

Police and FIA have expanded the investigation. It is likely that more individuals are involved in this fraud, and inquiries are ongoing.

It is noteworthy that Laiba wanted to pursue higher education in the US, but the consultant deceived her instead of helping.
