Karachi: (RightNow) Hira Naz and her accomplice were presented in court over the seizure of ice worth over Rs 25 crore. The court sent Hira Naz to judicial remand, while Abdul Ghaffar was handed over to police for a 4-day physical remand.

Police requested a 14-day physical remand for both suspects. According to police, high-quality ice valued at over Rs 25 crore was recovered from the suspects.

The investigating officer informed the court that the main suspect, Parvez, who is Hira Naz’s husband, has fled, and efforts are ongoing to arrest him. Police stated that further investigations and arrests of other accomplices are underway.

It is important to note that the suspects had established a network across Pakistan. The suspects were brought to the city court under tight security.

The case’s significance is heightened as it involves a major drug seizure, with the main suspect still at large.
