Rome: (RightNow) An Italian study reveals that 30 minutes of daily aerobic exercise helps prevent Type 2 diabetes. The research was conducted at the Centro per le Malattie Endocrine e Metaboliche.

The study included 32 participants aged 20 to 35, whose blood glucose and insulin sensitivity were tested. Each participant was instructed to engage in light jogging.

Tests conducted 24 hours post-exercise showed reduced blood glucose levels and increased insulin sensitivity. These results could be beneficial for long-term diabetes prevention.

The research focused on the immediate effects of physical activities, indicating that even minor physical activities play a significant role in diabetes prevention.

It is noteworthy that while many studies have highlighted the importance of physical activities, this research provides insights into the immediate effects of exercise.
