Islamabad: (RightNow) The government has raised petrol and diesel prices. Petrol price per liter increased by Rs 12.90, setting the new price at Rs 358.77.

According to the notification, diesel price increased by Rs 3.72 per liter. The new diesel price is set at Rs 381.77 per liter.

These prices will be effective from September 8, confirmed by relevant authorities. The public has expressed concern over this increase.

This decision is due to rising global oil prices, impacting the local market.

It is noteworthy that oil prices have been continuously rising in recent months, contributing to inflation.
