Islamabad: (RightNow). Jamaat-e-Islami’s Deputy Amir Liaqat Baloch states that the party has presented six suggestions to the government. The government has requested three days to review these proposals.

Liaqat Baloch mentioned that the suggestions include issues related to the fuel levy, and negotiations with the government will continue. He also noted that Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest will persist.

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal confirmed the meeting with the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation. He stated that the government will forward the suggestions to the relevant ministries, and further talks will occur on Thursday.

This matter holds significance as the negotiations between the government and Jamaat-e-Islami could impact the country’s economic situation. The protests by Jamaat-e-Islami have increased pressure on the government.

It is noteworthy that in recent months, the government has faced various economic challenges, including the fuel levy. The government collected more than the target set in the budget for the fuel levy, which Jamaat-e-Islami has objected to.
