Beed: (RightNow) In India’s Beed district, a family celebrated the birth of a daughter after nearly 200 years. The newborn, named Gargi, and her mother received a grand welcome upon returning from the hospital.
The Dhifale family stated that this is the first daughter born in five generations. The family celebrated the occasion with great joy, naming the baby Gargi.
Gargi’s mother, Saubhagyawati, gave birth to the child. After being discharged from the hospital, mother and daughter were brought home in a flower-decorated chariot.
Family members lovingly escorted Gargi home, and local residents also joined the celebration. Gargi’s grandfather, Limbaji Dhifale, expressed that this is a great fortune for their family.
It is noteworthy that the Dhifale family aims to convey to society that the birth of a daughter is a moment of joy and pride, not sorrow or burden.
