New York: (RightNow) A US medical study claims that just 3 minutes of specific daily exercise effectively prevents obesity and diabetes. The study reveals that this 3-minute workout is more beneficial than 90 minutes of moderate exercise.

The research analyzed data from 53,000 individuals. It found that running for 30 seconds, six times a day, causes immediate changes in blood proteins. These changes aid in repairing blood vessels and tissues.

Researchers at Rockefeller University state that this exercise reduces the risk of heart and metabolic diseases. They further noted that it helps prevent conditions like obesity and type 2 diabetes.

Published in the journal Cell Reports Medicine, the study highlights that exercise intensity positively affects proteins. Researchers noted that even a few minutes of exercise triggers significant molecular responses beneficial for the body.

It is noteworthy that this research was conducted over an 8-week training period, proving that the response is not temporary but permanent. This method can be effective in enhancing exercise benefits.
