A U.S. study finds daily multivitamins improve heart health and quality of life for the elderly.
United States: (RightNow) A new medical study reveals that daily multivitamin use enhances the health of elderly individuals. The research was conducted at Augusta University in the U.S.
The study included data from 16,000 individuals aged 60 and above. Participants were given either multivitamins, cocoa extract, or a placebo.
Over three years, the health of these individuals was monitored. Results showed that multivitamins improve heart health and reduce disease risk.
According to the study, multivitamins help replenish minerals in the body and are beneficial for arterial health. However, further research is needed to determine their full effects.
It is noteworthy that the use of multivitamins is increasing globally, with $8 billion worth of supplements sold annually in the U.S.
