Lahore: (RightNow) Investigations continue into the deaths of a woman and her three children in Valencia Town, Lahore. US officials have shown interest in the case, while police are exploring various angles.

According to police sources, the deceased woman, Alina, her husband Nasir, and their three children held US citizenship. The scope of the investigation has been expanded.

Two officials from the US Embassy met with the DIG Investigation Lahore, where they were briefed on the progress made so far.

Police sources state that they are awaiting forensic and other crucial reports. The investigation will be finalized once all reports are received.

It is noteworthy that on July 17, the bodies of Alina and her three children were found at their home. The children’s father, Nasir Dogar, was taken into custody for questioning. Initial investigations suggested possible poisoning.
