Islamabad: (RightNow) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the Indus RAS Expo. He stated that Pakistan is on the path to becoming a leader in modern technology. Hosting the Indus AI Summit is a significant achievement for Pakistan.

The Prime Minister highlighted that advancements in robotics and drones will strengthen the economy. Technological progress will simplify people’s lives. In the past, the arrival of black-and-white TV symbolized modernity. Today’s technology has turned dreams into reality.

He mentioned that Pakistan has made notable progress in technology. Under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, the armed forces have adopted modern technology. Autonomous systems and cybersecurity were used to defend borders in the Battle of Haq.

The Prime Minister clarified that Pakistan will use modern technology in defense. Legislation and ethical frameworks for autonomous systems are being developed. The benefits of technology will reach farmers, businesses, women, and youth.

It is noteworthy that Pakistan achieved a significant milestone in technology by hosting the Indus AI Summit. The Prime Minister also announced the launch of the Spark and Elevate program.
