Foreign Minister Anita Anand visited GHQ, where she held an important meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. Detailed discussions were held on bilateral relations and defense ties.
According to ISPR, the Field Marshal emphasized the need for joint efforts on global and regional security challenges. Pakistan’s stance was also highlighted.
Canada’s Foreign Minister praised Pakistan’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. Emphasis was placed on further enhancing cooperation in defense and security.
