A US attack on a children’s hospital in Ahvaz, Iran, kills 35 and injures over 300, leading to a temporary closure.
Ahvaz: (RightNow) Iran’s Foreign Ministry reports a US attack near a children’s cancer hospital in Ahvaz. The hospital is temporarily closed, and patients have been relocated.
Spokesperson Ismail Baqai states 211 chemotherapy patients were urgently transferred. The attack is condemned as brutal, reminiscent of Israeli assaults.
Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences confirms hospital services are suspended to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
According to Iran’s Health Ministry, the attack resulted in 35 deaths and over 300 injuries, including two women and a child.
It is noteworthy that US attacks have also affected Iran’s Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchestan, and Khuzestan provinces. Seventy-two injured are receiving treatment in various hospitals.
