Mumbai: (Right Now News) Renowned Bollywood actress Hema Malini has disclosed her reason for stepping away from films. In an interview with Indian media, she stated that she cannot align with the current style of filmmaking.
Hema Malini expressed in her interview that working in today’s filmmaking style is challenging for her. She reminisced about the golden era of Indian cinema, describing it as a golden age for the film industry.
She mentioned feeling fortunate to have been part of that era. She highlighted her first films, ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’ and ‘Khushboo’, as particularly special to her.
Hema Malini noted that she has acted in nearly 200 films. Producers frequently recast her in their films, and during that time, including songs in every film was essential.
It is noteworthy that Hema Malini hails from Tamil Nadu and began her career in 1968 with the film ‘Sapno Ka Saudagar’.
