Islamabad: (Right Now News) Peace talks between the US and Iran have failed. No final agreement was reached during the negotiations held in Islamabad.

During the talks, the US raised objections to Iran’s nuclear program. Iran maintained that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

The US delegation was led by Vice President JD Vance, while Abbas Araghchi represented Iran. Significant discussions took place, but no agreement was reached.

The US announcement of a blockade on Iranian ports has dealt a blow to the peace process. As a result, the talks failed, and Iran threatened retaliatory action.

It is noteworthy that the US and Iran have longstanding disputes over the nuclear program and regional issues. Both countries have come close to an agreement several times but have failed.
