Islamabad: (RightNow) Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari states that the emergency imposition is a constitutional step, and the government made every effort before taking this action. He mentioned that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government has committed a political suicide attack.

Bilawal Bhutto, speaking at the National Assembly session, claimed that India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan, causing harm to the country. He asserted that Pakistan is ready to fight terrorism and will not back down.

Bilawal Bhutto emphasized that the federal government cannot combat terrorism alone; the opposition must also play a role. He warned that without consensus on fundamental issues, the country will suffer.

The PPP Chairman urged the opposition to extend a hand for negotiations with the federal government, stating that the emergency cannot be permanent. He noted that the emergency imposition in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is constitutional.

It is noteworthy that Bilawal Bhutto has granted the opposition the right to oppose the government’s decision and present their stance, stating that the government attempted a political solution before enforcing the emergency.
