Tehran: (RightNow) Mohsen Rezaee, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, states that the US has accepted some of Iran’s seven conditions, but Tehran deems the response insufficient due to lack of progress on key demands.

Rezaee mentioned that the US responded to Iran’s proposals through Qatar, accepting some conditions, yet agreement on crucial issues remains elusive. Iranian officials presented these proposals during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

Iran has indicated readiness to reopen the Strait of Hormuz for navigation within seven days if the US accepts these conditions. Rezaee accused US actions of failing to reopen the strategic waterway.

The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and global oil supply disruptions are central topics in the negotiations between the two nations. Iran conditions the reopening of this maritime route on US concessions.

It is noteworthy that the exchange of messages through Qatar signifies diplomatic contact between the countries, but Iran’s stance limits immediate resolution of threats to global trade.
