Lahore: (RightNow) WhatsApp has launched a new feature allowing direct sending of Instagram Reels. With this feature, users can easily share Instagram Reels in WhatsApp chats.

A Reels shortcut is being added to the WhatsApp attachment menu. This feature will be available in the new beta version for Android devices.

WhatsApp’s gallery picker list view now includes a Reels shortcut. Users can also create sound stickers, offering new creative possibilities.

This feature will only work if the WhatsApp account is enabled on the Meta Accounts Center. Without linking the account, Instagram Reels cannot be shared.

It is noteworthy that the media picker will include three tabs: Recent, Saved, and Liked. These tabs will facilitate easy sharing of Reels on WhatsApp.
