Crude oil prices slightly decrease after Trump’s decision to lift Russia sanctions.
Global Market: (RightNow). Crude oil prices in the global market have slightly decreased. On Monday morning, as trading began in Asia, crude oil prices fell.
Reports indicate that Brent crude futures dropped nearly 1%, reaching $108.80 per barrel. This decline followed Trump’s executive order.
U.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday, lifting several sanctions on Russia. These sanctions included tariffs on Russian products and restrictions on purchasing Russian oil and gas.
The slight drop in oil prices came after a rise on Friday, when prices reached their highest level since May 19.
It is noteworthy that Trump stated the aim of lifting restrictions on Russian exports is to bring Russia to the negotiating table.
