Karachi: (RightNow) The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has strongly criticized Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s statements. Senior PPP Minister Sharjeel Memon expressed disappointment over the remarks.

Sharjeel Memon stated that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has faced terrorism threats himself. He mentioned that their party has suffered losses at the hands of terrorists.

Memon expressed hope that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman will adopt a clear stance against terrorism. He criticized the PTI government for having a lenient approach towards terrorists.

Memon remarked that PTI faced the consequences of their decisions. He noted that innocent lives were lost and soldiers were martyred.

It is noteworthy that Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has previously made statements against terrorism. The PPP has demanded further clarification from him.
