The Foreign Ministry has simplified document verification with a new digital system, allowing citizens to benefit from online services.
Islamabad: (RightNow) The Foreign Ministry has introduced a digital system for document verification for citizens. Through this system, citizens can apply online and receive verification certificates via email.
According to the Foreign Ministry, this new system has been operational since October 12, 2026. It will also be applicable to liaison offices in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Gujrat.
Under the system, citizens must upload documents on the online portal. After document review, they can pay the fee and receive the verification certificate via email.
The digital system is designed to save citizens from office visits and waiting in queues. It aims to reduce the difficulties of traditional procedures.
