Islamabad: (RightNow) Minister of Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf has announced that the 40-day Hajj scheme package is set at PKR 1.2 million. Habib Bank Limited is appointed as the authorized banking partner, allowing pilgrims to complete payments via the Pak Hajj app from home.

For the first time, a 4-year Hajj policy has been announced in Pakistan. The 20 to 25-day short Hajj scheme package will cost PKR 1.3 million. Under the government Hajj scheme 2027, 107,526 seats have been allocated.

The Federal Minister stated that the digital system will save pilgrims from long queues and additional expenses. This system ensures transparency and convenience, allowing private pilgrims to select organizers through the Hajj app or portal.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the first installment for Hajj 2027 will be collected starting August 17. It is mandatory to deposit 50% of the selected Hajj package in the first installment.

It is noteworthy that the digital system is introduced to save pilgrims from unnecessary travel and expenses, ensuring the protection of their capital.
