Islamabad: (RightNow) Traffic congestion is expected in Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to VIP movement, traders’ protest, and cricket team activities. Metro bus service will be limited in some areas.

Traffic may slow down on the Red Zone and Expressway during the departure of Antonio Guterres and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister. Authorities predict traffic pressure in these areas.

Traders have announced a protest at Aabpara Chowk from 3 PM to 5 PM, likely increasing traffic in Aabpara and surrounding areas.

The cricket team’s practice session at the stadium may also impact traffic. The team will head to the stadium at 4:15 PM.

It is noteworthy that some entrances to the Red Zone are closed for security reasons. Citizens are advised to use alternative routes.
