Islamabad: (RightNow) An anti-terrorism court acquits all PTI workers arrested during the long march.

Judge Abu al-Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain presided over the hearing. PTI lawyers Sardar Muhammad Masroof, Murtaza Tori, and Zahid Bashir Dar appeared in court. The investigating officer requested a postponement for the identification parade.

The lawyers argued that the workers have been detained for over 40 days, and the police are seeking delays at every hearing. They alleged that the workers were deliberately arrested.

Zahid Bashir Dar requested the court to enforce the previous hearing’s order. The court accepted the request and acquitted all workers.

It is noteworthy that PTI workers were judicially remanded for identification parades in cases at Shalimar and Secretariat police stations.
