Islamabad: (RightNow) Jamaat-e-Islami has accepted the invitation from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to join the All Parties Conference. Jamaat-e-Islami has opposed the imposition of Governor Rule and emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A delegation led by PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan met with Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman. Opposition leader Allama Nasir Abbas and other senior politicians also attended the meeting.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman stated that a national agenda is needed for improving the country’s law and order and economic situation. He opposed actions that suspend the constitution.

Allama Nasir Abbas emphasized that the purpose of the All Parties Conference is to discuss issues faced by political parties. He stressed the need to end political and social divisions.

It is noteworthy that Jamaat-e-Islami has also raised concerns about Imran Khan’s health and the rights of detained political leaders. They expressed concern over the health issues of detained women and other leaders.
