Lahore: (RightNow) Heavy rain is forecast across most regions of Pakistan, with an increase in the intensity of western winds expected.

Rain is anticipated in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad. There is a risk of flooding in these areas, especially in mountainous regions and seasonal streams.

According to NEOC, heavy rain and hail are expected in parts of Pothohar, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until September 30.

Rain is also predicted in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Murree. Torrential rain in these cities may disrupt daily life.

It is important to note that recent rains have already caused flooding in some areas, leading to significant difficulties for residents.
