Islamabad: (RightNow) The Federal Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has dismissed the Afghan Defense Ministry’s claim of destroying a Pakistani border post near Spin Boldak as baseless. The Ministry labeled the Afghan claim as false and fabricated, stating it contradicts the facts.

The Ministry of Information reports that an Afghan aggression attempt in the Gulistan sector was thwarted on the night of September 24 and 25. In retaliation, Afghan Taliban posts suffered significant damage, with evidence available in videos and photos.

According to the statement, at least 13 Afghan Taliban personnel were killed and several injured during the operation. The Ministry has declared the Afghan Defense Ministry’s claim as false.

This issue is significant as tensions between the two countries are escalating, potentially affecting regional security. Such false claims can increase misunderstandings between the nations.

It is important to note that Pakistan and Afghanistan have had border issues and clashes in the past, impacting bilateral relations.
