Riyadh: (RightNow) Saudi Arabia claims to have destroyed 6 ballistic missiles launched by Yemen’s Houthi group. These missiles were aimed at Taif and Yanbu.

Major General Turki Al-Maliki, spokesperson for the Saudi coalition, stated that the Saudi air defense system intercepted the missiles. He warned that violations by the Houthis will be met with a strong response.

Saudi Civil Defense has issued warnings through the early warning system for Mecca and other cities. Alerts have been issued for Mecca, Taif, Jeddah, Tabuk, and Yanbu.

These attacks occurred amid ongoing clashes between Saudi Arabia and the Houthi group. Recently, the Houthis have increased their attacks against Saudi Arabia.

It is noteworthy that intense clashes continue between the Saudi-led coalition forces and the Houthi group. The Houthis have intensified their operations against Saudi Arabia.
